XX XY (diptych) December 2020 Charcoal, Soft Pastel on Paper 50 x 70 cm each One of the many anatomy studies I have made in Turkey, but this time I am using the "perfect" anatomical pieces I made which only depicts 2 genders, decaying the knowledge for other genders and identity. This piece’s intentions are to show the struggles of gender identity and the patriarchy between the “recognized” genders. As the male-identified body is in the spotlight, while the female-identified body is let in the darkness.
Self-Portrait Because Why Not (diptych) Charcoal on Paper March 2021 60 x 61 cm each This piece depicts the person that I think I look like, and the person that is displayed in the photos. We tend to put a light on our superficial side, empty eyes with no soul behind, and acne scars that are covered by makeup have become nothing but a shallow shell while the messy black hairs with eye bags and acne scars are to be left in darkness.

Mesud February 2021 Charcoal, Watercolor on Paper 64 x 61 cm Inspired by David Kassan’s Skull in Sepia, I wanted to explore the final step of decay, death. That one day, we will be these skeletons with hollow eyes. But this knowledge should not scare one, however, give them meaning, a growth even. Therefore these colorful flowers showcase how knowing inevitable decay makes one grow

Meltdown (diptych) March 2021 Digitally Manipulated Photograph 60 x 45 cm each As one loses their sense of reality, it is possible to have a meltdown and forget your senses. The decay of our senses and loss of connection to our environment by the causation of stress and environment can be overwhelming. These two sets of photos show how one feels in a meltdown, and how they see when they are in a meltdown by showing our loss of daily-life abilities, not being able to talk, or even see as these abilities start to melt from us when we are in an accentuated environment.

Stop cracking your bones, it’s unhealthy February 2021 Charcoal, Pencil on Paper 35 x 40 cm In response to the artist named Agelio Batle, and his performative art named “Ash Dancer,” this piece showcases how one feels in the peace of death while slowly decaying. As one lays down and breaths slowly, letting their mind be at peace, they will soon realize that they are not alone, but together with nature while fading. Once again, this piece depicts us grasping how we will complete our life with slow but surely withering.
